Affiliate Disclosure
The plain-English version: some links earn us a commission, it costs you nothing extra, and it never buys a better ranking.
How we’re funded
Chain & Chargeis free to read, and it’s funded by affiliate commissions. When you click a “View on Amazon” or “Check price” button and buy something, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. It does notadd anything to your price — you pay exactly what you would have paid anyway.
Amazon Associates
Chain & Charge is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Our product links route through a simple redirect (/go/) that adds our Associates tag; the destination is always the retailer’s normal product page.
Our commitment: commissions never change the ranking
This is the line that matters. A commission never buys a better position in a roundup, a kinder verdict, or a mention we’d otherwise leave out. We rank on published specs, independent standards and honest buyer fit — the full method is on the how we pickpage — and when a cheaper or non-earning option is the better buy, we say so and point you to it. We accept no free products and no sponsored placements.
Prices and availability
Prices shown on Chain & Chargecome directly from Amazon and are stamped with the date they were last verified. They change constantly, and a price older than 48 hours is removed automatically — so if you see “Check price on Amazon” instead of a number, it’s because we’d rather show nothing than a stale figure. Always confirm the current price and details on the retailer’s page before buying.
Other programs
Amazon is our default retailer. If we ever add a link through another affiliate network or a brand-direct program, the same rules apply: it’s disclosed, it costs you nothing extra, and it never changes our recommendation. Some links on the site (for example, to a brand that sells direct but that we haven’t joined) earn us nothing at all — we include them because they’re the right answer for the reader.
