Everything on Chain & Chargeis provided for general information about bikes and commuting gear. It is not professional, mechanical, legal or safety advice. We are enthusiasts, not certified mechanics or a test lab, and we don’t physically test the products we compare — our full method is on the how we pickpage. Always follow a product’s own instructions, verify your local laws (for example, e-bike class rules), and use appropriate safety gear.

Accuracy, prices and availability

We work hard to be accurate and to cite our sources, but specifications, prices and availability change constantly and can contain errors. Prices shown are pulled from third-party retailers and are stamped with a “last verified” date; they may be out of date by the time you read them. Always confirm the current price, specification and availability on the retailer’s own page before purchasing. We are not responsible for a retailer’s pricing, stock or product decisions.

Third-party links and purchases

Chain & Chargelinks to third-party retailers, primarily Amazon. When you buy, you do so on that retailer’s site, under that retailer’s terms and policies, not ours. We are not a party to your purchase and can’t handle orders, returns, warranties or support — contact the retailer for those. Some links are affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure.

Intellectual property

The writing, rankings and original layout of Chain & Charge are our property. You may share and link to our pages; you may not republish substantial portions as your own. Product images are supplied by the retailers via their programs and remain the property of their respective owners.
